Information Technology
Studying computer science and information technology includes the design and use of computer systems and networks.
Some of the concepts studied at JCU include: programming (C, C++, JAVA); internetworking; multimedia; databases; computing data structures; software engineering; computer graphics; GIS; web technologies; animation; system architecture; computer networks; data communications; network administration; ICT projects; project management; and ethics.
The learning environment is friendly and open, with ample small group tutorials and hands-on practical sessions in the laboratories.
