Description
The larvae which are not usually attended by ants feed on a number of species from different families, several in the area are Harpullia pendula (Sapindaceae)and Pipturus argenteus (Urticaceae). Mature larvae with a densely hairy green or olive-green body. Adult male lilac with a narrow brown outer margin, hind with two small black spots and a tail, female brown, fore with a bluish central area, hind tinged with blue, several rings and bands and two black spots near the tail.
