Onagraceae
Onagra was an old Greek name for a kind of plant. Usually herbs or shrubs; leaves simple, alternate, opposite or whorled. Flowers usually 4-merous with stamens twice as many as sepals. Hypanthium usually present, ovary usually inferior; fruit a capsule, berry, drupe or nut, seeds numerous.
