Description
Also known as C. verum, this tree, originally from Sri Lanka can be readily identified by the firm broadly lanceolate leaves which are three veined at the base; by the smell of cinnamon produced when the leaves are crushed and by the dark fruits which are surrounded by a cupule with 6 persistent points.
