Distinguishing features |
A weed of disturbed areas, stems and leaves bear rough hairs, tendrils present. Leaves alternate, deeply 5-lobed may be up to 9.5 cm long and 9 cm broad. Flowers have a yellow 5-lobed corolla. Fruit a pepo, ellipsoidal to 6 cm long, 3 cm diameter with short prickles on surface giving a rough feel, yellowish when ripe. |
