Teaching and Copyright
Materials can be copied for teaching purposes under the University's AV, Music and Copyright Agency Ltd licenses’. In accordance with University policy, scanned materials for teaching must be saved to Reserve Online.
For personal study and research, lecturers can copy under the Fair Dealing provisions of the Copyright Act 1968. Lecturers may also utilise the Creative Commons licenses’ as either a creator or user.
Students can only copy under the "Fair Dealing" provisions of the Act or using Creative Commons licenses’ and are not covered by the University licenses’.
