Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) Resources
The Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) initiative has replaced the Research Quality Framework (RQF). ERA will be developed by the Australian Research Council (ARC). It will assess the quality and impact of research publication output within Australia’s higher education institutions using a combination of indicators and expert review by committees comprising experienced, internationally-recognised experts.
These pages provide information about how to use resources to obtain bibliometric measures such as journal impact factors and citation analysis. They will also address frequently asked questions including:
- How many times have my publications been cited?
- Is the journal in which I am publishing a quality journal?
- How do I find out if the journal has an impact factor?
Acknowledgement: We are grateful to the University of South Australia Library for allowing us to freely use and adapt their ERA Resources webpages
